Traffic School option

as of July 1, 2005 Drivers holding commercial license MAY NOT make election

If you wish to elect the option of traffic school to save points from your license,

you must contact the Clerk's Office in LaBelle at (863) 675-5209 or

Clewiston at (863) 983-1586 ext 5209 to receive instructions.

You will be required to sign an Affidavit electing this option and pay the following Court costs.

Please be reminded that you may only elect this option once within a twelve (12) month period and no more than five (5) times in your life time.

You must present proof of completion of the 4 hour defensive driving course within 90 days of signing the Affidavit.

Schools are listed in the Yellow Pages of your local phone book under "Driving Instruction" or "Traffic Schools".

Fines listed in BLUE are if you elect the option of traffic school

Payments must be received in the Clerk's Office within 30 days (this includes weekends and holidays) of the issue date of the citation. Any payment received after the 31st day must include a Delinquent Processing Fee of $12.00.

Tag and registration infractions require proof of a valid registration in addition to the fine. Drivers license infraction charges require proof of a valid drivers license in addition to the fine.

Payment must be in the form of cash or money order. We do not accept personal checks or business checks.
