In each county, Clerks of Court serve as the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. The functions in this role can be grouped into two main categories: administrative and record keeping services.Clerks attend meetings of the Board of County Commissioners and committees of the board, and they produce, record, index and distribute official minutes of those meetings. This provides transparency and accountability in county-level decision making.
